Half Step back
So this week has been a tiring one. I had to be up at 5:30 every morning for the last three days. And one of those days I woke up at 3:30. So even though I would go to bed at 9: or 7:30 I still feel extremely tired. So today I decided not to go to church so I can catch up on my sleep before another week of early practices come.
Even though I didn't go to church, I still woke up and found a service on TV to watch. I woke up and watched Jesse Duplantis. The one thing that I got from his message that really struck me was to have child like faith. Children trust in what their parents have to day. So we as believers, and have God as our Father, need to trust what our father says.

One the right track
So my New Year's Resolution was to go to church. Today, I took the first step in having a relationship with God, and that was go to church. I did it I got up, got ready, and headed out. I went to a church that was 20 minutes away. I was pretty decent. I felt that it grabbed my attention more so than other church in Oskaloosa.

New Year Resolution
I usually don't make up New Year's Resolution. But there is one resolution that I would like to make is to get got to church more. Before, I was just living like finding out who I am. Well, now that feel empty, I know that I can not find who I am without God. Because God has me going in an opposite direction then where I was going.
Having a relationship with God can be a challenge. Because the ways for the world are so tempting. But when ways of the world leave you feeling empty and not fulling. Have a relationship with God, like I did growing up, He fills me up.
As I was telling my sister, Kerri, The only good thing that has come from "trying to find myself" is that if someone asks me why I go to church. I no longer have to say "Because my mom and dad told me too." I can say, "I got to the point where I felt so empty that having a relationship with God is what I am missing."
